The goal of the Young Engineers Club is to develop problem solving skills through challenging hands-on activities in a creative, cooperative environment that incorporates Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) in order to prepare students for a 21st century workforce. Some of our club activities include guest speakers, working with simple programming and 3-D modeling computer programs, building with LEGO bricks and Keva planks; and this year, building and programming a LEGO robot. Students meet weekly on Thursdays from 2:30 – 3:30 and put their imaginations and creativity to work. |
